Our Team

Foothills Calvary has a wonderful family of staff and volunteers who are dedicated to serving their church and community. Our team members are looking forward to connecting with you.

Scott Morrison

Senior Pastor

Pastor Scott Morrison has lived in Colorado for the majority of his life. He and his wife Pam were married in 1987 and have two adult children (and 4 amazing granddaughters).

They have called Lakewood their home for the last 30 years. Scott has been in ministry in the Denver metro area as a youth and associate pastor for most of the last 26+ years.

He attended Colorado Christian University where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management in Christian Leadership and was recently ordained through Foothills Calvary.

His marriage was almost destroyed 24 years ago by his disobedience and pushing God away. But, through God's grace and the body of Christ reaching out, he was able to reconcile with his wife and dedicate his life to serving God at whatever level he was called to. James 4:6 has become his life verse;

"But He gives a greater grace. Therefore it says, "God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble."

He and his wife had been attending and serving at Foothills Calvary for over three years when the call came to step up and lead as senior pastor. His heart is to reach our community with the hope of the gospel and with a real-life understanding of the power of God's grace. Life and ministry are truly about loving God and loving people.

*On July 21, 2023 Pam went home to be with the Lord after an 8 1/2 year battle with cancer. Her legacy of faith carries on… “May your faith be seen and may God be glorified in all you do”!

Norrie Bush

Elder

Norrie came to Denver from San Antonio, TX in 2016.  He and his beautiful wife, Judy, have attended Foothills Calvary since 2016.  He serves on the Foothills Calvary board as treasurer, and has a heart and passion for God's word to be taught and proclaimed in a simple and applicable manner.  His desire is to teach and disciple men, helping them to not only understand God’s Word, but to be doers as well, and to be Godly men in every aspect of their lives.

Shevy Gallegos

Childrens Ministry

For many years, Shevy spent time pulling away from a relationship with God, and it was actually her young daughter that encouraged her to return to Gods loving arms.

Shevy and her daughter have called Foothills Calvary their church home since Easter 2014 when Shevy was saved. In 2016, after serving on the set up team for about a year, Shevy was called into a children’s ministry position. All the while, God led Shevy to leave her six year position at a child care center work in Human Services. Her desire as the Children’s Director is to pour into the children and encourage parents in our church as they grow in their relationships with God.

Coby Clemons

Youth Ministry

My name is Coby Clemons and I am the youth ministry leader here at Foothills Calvary! I have lived in Colorado my whole life and currently am attending Colorado Christian University to study Theology. I was saved around the age of seven years old and I aim to dedicate my whole life to the service of God and to further his kingdom!

Nate and Falon Simmons

FAM

Nate and Falon are both Colorado natives and grew up in the Green Mountain/Lakewood area.  They live in Lakewood with their twin daughters, Jill and Erin.

Nate and Falon have been a part of FAM (Foster Adopt Ministry) since the beginning; first as foster parents and now leading the ministry.  FAM is what brought Falon to the Lord.  Falon first attended a Foster Parent Info Meeting at the church, which led to building relationships within the church, and then salvation one month before becoming certified Foster Parents.  Nate has known the Lord since he was younger and was happy to have found Foothills Calvary in 2017.

When they are not attending church or leading FAM, Nate, Falon and their daughters enjoy the outdoors, camping, fishing, paddle boarding, and gardening.  They are also big Colorado sports fans.
