Calvary Belmar Missions Program

And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. – Matthew 28:18-20

Salvation is such a magnificent gift that it naturally causes a stirring in our hearts for the lost, the hurting, and those who do not know the love of Christ. The natural result of this stirring is to share His love with those around us.

At Calvary Belmar, we believe mission work is so much more than just sending evangelical and humanitarian trips to other countries. Mission work starts right here in the Denver Metro area. It is the work of spreading the gospel, of sharing the good news of the salvation we have in Christ with the lost. It involves ministering to the spiritual, as well as material needs (James 1:15-17, 1:27) of those we encounter. It involves evangelism, discipleship and love. In this sense, every follower of Christ is, and should be, a full time missionary, we are all Christ’s ambassadors in this world.

While we believe that mission work starts here on the front range, we certainly do not believe it ends here! Jesus clearly commands us to “go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation” (Mark 16:15). At Calvary Belmar, we take that commandment seriously. We desire to reach the world with the message of the gospel, spreading the love of Christ wherever he leads us. For this purpose we continually seek to develop relationships with those we can partner with in the gospel in other areas of the world, be it inner city Denver, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico or in Ikageng, South Africa. We desire to spread the message of the kingdom of heaven and partner with those who live in the areas we serve to ensure that our evangelism is followed up with discipleship and love.

We partner with several different missionaries and missions organizations in their work to spread the gospel and the love of Christ around the world.

Calvary Belmar supports and endorses each of the following missionaries & organizations through our time, prayers, finances, or a combination of these.
