We believe in outreach in a big way.
Just as Jesus came on a mission to save us, we are now on His mission to share the love of God and the gospel message with the world.
And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
We desire to live out this mission practically and relationally, and so we encourage personal evangelism, and we also hold many outreach and service events to reach as many as possible with the love and message of Christ.
We believe in sharing the gospel in word as well as in deed, and because of that, we take James’ statement in James 1:7 seriously.
Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.
Because of this, we place a big emphasis on caring for the hurting and poor in our community, and coupling that with the life-chaning message of the gospel.
We serve monthly at the Denver Rescue Mission, a gospel-focused outreach to the homeless and downtrodden. We also serve often as opportunities arise with Samaritan’s Purse Disaster Relief, having served at both the Black Forest Fire clean-up, and the disastrous 500 year flood that struck our state in 2013. In addition to these opportunities, we also hold semi-annual community outreaches, and are always looking for opportunities to reach our city.
