It can be intimidating and maybe even a little scary to visit a new church. What should I wear? How do they worship? Will I feel at home? Will the people be friendly? At Calvary Belmar, we understand the questions and feelings that go with your first time visiting a new church. Our desire is that you would feel welcomed, received and loved as you visit with us.

Catalyst Prayer Service

Catalyst Prayer service is an opportunity to cause change through communication with God. Prayer is Gods design for us to communicate with Him and according to His word we accomplish great things when we pray and are encouraged to pray with thanks giving and confidence.

For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst.”

- Matthew 18:20

When we pray together we find great strength that inspires passion as we serve God. Prayer changes things: Miraculously raising the dead as in Acts 9:40, Extraordinarily ending drought in James 5:17-18 and ordinarily by connecting friends as in Acts 28:15-16.

Come join us as we bring change to our families and community through prayer.

(James 5:16, 1 John 5:14, Matthew 6:9-13)

Youth Group

(6th to 12th Grade)

Our hearts desire is to see that our youth are empowered to pursue their own personal walk with God, ask the hard questions, be seekers of truth and establish faith based friendships that will last a lifetime. Through worship, prayer and learning at their unique level we seek to see them establish a strong foundation in Jesus Christ that will not waiver as they enter adulthood.

I will plant in the wilderness the cedar and the acacia tree, the myrtle and the oil tree; I will set in the desert the cypress tree and the pine and the box tree together, that they may see and know, and consider and understand together, that the hand of the Lord has done this, and the Holy One of Israel has created it.

- Isaiah 41:19-20
